Play Unusual Suspects in Your Browser
Unusual Suspects is a drawing game by Neal Agarwal in which you act as a police sketch artist and draw a suspect based only on witness testimony. This link is the official page on Agarwal's site, neal.fun, where it is free to play in the browser.

Unusual Suspects background
Neal Agarwal is a developer who has built a long series of free interactive projects on neal.fun, including The Password Game, Infinite Craft and Stimulation Clicker. He released Unusual Suspects on September 2, 2026, announcing it as a sketch artist game where you draw a character from witness testimony.
The game was picked up soon after launch by sites such as Boing Boing and Waxy.org, which described it as a game about drawing well-known characters from vague and comic witness descriptions. Like the rest of neal.fun, it runs entirely in the browser and needs no account or download.
How to play Unusual Suspects
You never see the character you are supposed to draw. Each case presents several witnesses, and each one gives a statement that is oddly specific in some details and vague in others. Once you have heard them, you draw the suspect on a canvas. The game then guesses which character it thinks your sketch shows and gives the drawing a percentage score, so the challenge is working out who the witnesses are describing and capturing the features that make that character recognizable.
- Open the page on neal.fun and start the first case.
- Read each witness statement and think about which character the clues point to.
- Draw the suspect on the canvas with your mouse or finger, focusing on the most identifying features.
- Submit the sketch to see which character the game recognizes and your score, then move on to the next case.
