Play Cookie Clicker in Your Browser
Cookie Clicker is the 2013 incremental game where you bake cookies by clicking and spend them on ever larger cookie production. This page links to the official browser version.

Cookie Clicker background
French developer Julien Thiennot, known as Orteil, released Cookie Clicker in August 2013. It became one of the defining incremental, or idle, games, and helped popularize the genre in browsers.
Orteil continued updating the browser version for years with new buildings, upgrades, and minigames. A paid version with extra content was released on Steam in 2021, while the browser version remains free.
How to play Cookie Clicker
You start by clicking the big cookie to bake cookies one at a time. Cookies buy buildings such as cursors, grandmas, farms, and factories that bake for you automatically, and upgrades multiply what each building produces. Golden cookies appear briefly on screen and give large bonuses when clicked. Later you can ascend, resetting your progress in exchange for heavenly chips and prestige that permanently boost future runs. The game saves in your browser, so you can close the tab and continue later.
- Click the big cookie to bake your first cookies.
- Buy cursors and grandmas, then larger buildings as your cookie count grows.
- Buy upgrades whenever they appear; they often matter more than new buildings.
- Click golden cookies as soon as they appear for a big boost.
