Play Costcodle in Your Browser
Costcodle is a fan-made daily game in which you guess the price of a Costco food item in six tries. This link is the game's own site; it is not an official Costco product.

Costcodle background
Costcodle was made by Zachary Kermitz, who goes by Kerm online, and its source code has been public on GitHub under the MIT licence since September 2023. The repository describes it as a Wordle-style daily guessing game for Costco food products, built with plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The game credits Wordle and Tradle as its inspiration. Product names, photos and prices come from the Costco Food Database, a fan-run site that tracks items sold in Costco warehouses, so the target price reflects that database rather than any particular store's current shelf price. The site links to the GitHub source and invites players to report bugs and send suggestions.
How to play Costcodle
Each day everyone gets the same Costco food product, shown with its photo and name. You type a price guess and submit it. The game marks each guess with an arrow telling you whether the real price is higher or lower, and colour-codes it: a guess more than 25 percent off is shown as far away, while one within 25 percent is shown as close. You win if any guess lands within 5 percent of the target price, and you have six guesses in total. The site tracks games played, win rate, current and best streaks, and a guess distribution.
- Open costcodle.com to see today's product.
- Enter a price in dollars and press Submit.
- Use the up or down arrow and colour on your guess to narrow in on the real price.
- Get within 5 percent in six guesses or fewer, then copy your result to share it.
