I'm Not a Robot is a browser puzzle game by Neal Agarwal that turns the familiar "prove you are human" CAPTCHA check into 48 increasingly strange levels. This link opens the official version on his site, neal.fun.

I’m Not a Robot background
Neal Agarwal is the developer behind neal.fun, a site of small interactive web projects and games. He released I'm Not a Robot there in September 2025. The idea is a parody of the CAPTCHA tests that guard sign-up forms across the web: instead of one checkbox, the player faces a long chain of verification puzzles that become harder and more absurd as they go.
Fast Company reported that the game had been played by more than 2.5 million people after launch, and quoted Agarwal estimating that a full run takes around two hours and that fewer than 1% of players had finished it. It runs entirely in the browser with no account or download.
How to play I’m Not a Robot
Each level is a single verification challenge, and you must pass it to move on. Early levels look like real CAPTCHAs, such as ticking a checkbox or reading wobbling distorted text. Later ones drift into jokes and skill tests: Fast Company describes finding Waldo on a crowded beach, drawing a circle with the mouse that is at least 94% accurate, and trading on a mock stock market until you have made enough money. A session is a run from level 1 toward level 48, with the final screen offering a certificate of your humanity.
- Open the page and wait for the first CAPTCHA box to appear.
- Read each level's instruction carefully; the rules change every time.
- Use the mouse (and the keyboard where a level asks for it) to solve the challenge, then confirm to continue.
- If a level is failed, try it again; progress continues from the level you reached.
