Play Slow Roads in Your Browser
Slow Roads is a relaxed driving game in which procedurally generated roads and landscapes unfold endlessly ahead of you. This link is the official, free web version at slowroads.io.

Slow Roads background
Slow Roads was created by a solo developer known as Anslo and first released as a free browser game in October 2022. It runs on its own procedural generation engine, and its pitch is simple: no races, timers or objectives, just a long drive through scenery that never repeats.
The browser version spread widely after launch and has continued to receive updates. In September 2026 Anslo's label Topograph Interactive released a paid desktop edition on Steam, which adds features such as vehicle customisation and tuning and more locations. The free web version at slowroads.io remains available alongside it.
How to play Slow Roads
There is no goal to complete. A procedural engine generates the road and terrain as you drive, so every stretch is new; world generation is seeded, so a good road can be revisited. You pick a vehicle, such as a car, a coach or a motorbike, and can change the scenery, season and weather to suit your mood. Driving can be fully manual, or you can let the game help with steering and speed or switch on autodrive and simply watch the landscape go by.
- Open the page and let the world generate; a desktop browser with WebGL works best.
- Choose a vehicle and scenery settings from the menu if you want to change them.
- Drive with the keyboard, or enable autodrive to cruise hands-free.
- Open the settings at any time to switch camera view, weather or road style.
